Dave - Centre Manager
I'm keeping this short and clean, which sums me up perfectly really. Walked into the Volunteer Centre in 1996 to offer my services and was frightened to death, now I find myself responsible for it! Scary!! Still have to pinch myself at times, but it has been enjoyable, if something of a roller-coaster ride.
Janine – Project Co-ordinator
I came to England over ten years ago. I didn't plan it but there were lots of things to do and see. I'm still doing and seeing and thought a good way to meet new people was to volunteer with the befriending project. Met some lovely people and now I'm co-ordinating the project. It's a lovely, rewarding job.
Miranda – DYMS project worker and NE Derbyshire outreach worker
As my personal life seems somewhat hectic ... why make my work life any different! So here I am at The Volunteer Centre splitting my time between two different projects. Apart from my work one of my passions is chocolate, so all donations will be greatly received
